"THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!!!

The new 330 hull arrived yesterday and we had it out last evening and it performed exactly as I had hoped.  No shift to the right....or to the left....Precisely what I had expected from the first hull.    The first hull is packaged up and ready to be returned.  I'll get it out just as soon as the call tag arrives for it.   I want to thank you both for your truly exceptional service and commitment to your customers.  I will recommend InflatableBoats4Less to anyone who will listen!   I appreciate everything you've done to help us enjoy boating.

Thanks again!

Returns

InflatableBoats4Less.com 30 Day On-The-Water-Trial

When a Sea Eagle approved dealer (me) buys a Sea Eagle boat for a customer (you) there is NO factory backed 30-day or 180-day return policy. If a dealer customer is unhappy with his Sea Eagle boat, purchased through a dealer, the dealer can’t return it to Sea Eagle and be reimbursed nor can the customer! Therefore any customer return to a dealer is governed by the policy and practice of that individual dealer. To my knowledge none of the online Sea Eagle dealers will let you return a Sea Eagle boat. None! All sales are final. Check it out.

“So Tim…if you really believe in Sea Eagle inflatable boats…like you say you do…what is your return policy?”

InflatableBoats4Less.com 30 Day On-The-Water-Trial:

InflatableBoats4Less will accept returns on any Sea Eagle boat purchased for 30 days from date of purchase (date noted on sales receipt) or date of delivery, whichever is the later, as long as it’s returned in the original packaging in like-new condition. If I were you ...I would retain all packaging...just in case! We will not accept any repaired or patched boats. We will not pay for return shipping. We will charge a 20% restocking fee and charge for any unusual cleaning expenses or damaged or missing accessories. We are very sympathetic to legitimate customers concerns and will lean over backward to keep our Sea Eagle customer family happy...

and last:

You must CALL for a return authorization.

Any return without this authorization will be refused! Credit will be issued when received and inspected. Return shipping charges are your responsibility.

Editorial

I expect to lose a lot of business to Sea Eagle's very liberal 180 day return policy. Now somebody can buy a boat, use it all summer and then return for a full refund. My little Mom and Pop company can offer honesty, great service, and low prices but can't afford the abuses to which a return policy this liberal will lead.

We used to have a 30 day on the water FULL REFUND but returns were unusually high primarily coming from really urgent customers who "just had to have their new boat delivered in time for vacation!" We determined that our liberal" 30 Day On-The-Water-Trail Full Refund" policy was encouraging "rentals!" I'm told that some large retailers have " habitual returners" blacklists and refuse to do business with those who are on these lists.  Effective Oct. 1, 2005 we started charging a 20% restocking fee which was deducted from the refund amount and evidently " boat renting " was now a bit too expensive and our returns came to a complete stop..
